About Us:
DTx is seeking a Senior Project Management Officer (PMO) to strengthen our project management team. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational management of Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência (PRR) projects and supporting the acquisition and execution of new funding projects across various R&D programs.
The PMO team ensures the implementation of project management tools, methodologies, and best practices across all DTx projects. In funded projects, the PMO will also guarantee compliance with the respective funding regulations and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
– Implement project management tools, procedures, and practices according to each project phase;
– Perform the operational management of projects and programs;
– Support Project’s Technical Coordinators throughout the project life cycle: planning, execution, and closing;
– Ensure project planning alignment and kick-off according to DTx’s practices and its compliance with chain of approval;
– Ensure project’s execution compliance with external funding regulations (e.g., FCT, ANI, IAPMEI, etc.);
– Monitor and control the project operational status, ensuring adherence to technical, scientific, organizational, and administrative requirements;
– Prepare and submit periodic reports to funding agencies and other organisms (e.g. DTx structure and Associates/Partners);
– Ensure project scope, quality, time, and cost targets are met;
– Implement and monitor risk and issue management practices;
– Develop and maintain all project management documentation;
– Support colleagues, promoting a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
Applicant Profile
Education:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields;
– Certification in Project Management from a recognized professional organization (e.g., PMP).
Experience:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience as a PMO, with emphasis on:

- Application writing and submissions;
- Project planning (scope, timelines, risks, and quality);
- Operational project monitoring, control, and reporting;
- Managing project closure and lessons learned.
– Verified experience in R&D funded projects, national and/or international, is mandatory.
